Share transfers between Fidelity accounts download incorrectly

I recently transferred some mutual fund shares between two brokerage accounts at Fidelity.

The downloaded transactions were a sale/buy ("Sold"/"Bought") pair in the two accounts which creates a capital gain/loss in Quicken. They should have downloaded as a Remove/Add transaction pair.

I don't do this kind of transfer often enough that I will be able to capture the screenshots a logs to submit any time soon.

When I contacted support, they suggested I post it here so that Quicken support can keep me updated on any progress related to this specific issue.

It's a fairly obvious and straightforward test procedure to recreate the scenario, so Quicken personnel should be able to test it and capture the needed data.

I don't know if this is related to the Fidelity download migration or has always been this way.

Were both accounts either taxable, or both non-taxable?

When you sign into Fidelity's website, what shows there?

How did you give the instructions to Fidelity to move the shares?
