Quicken not downloading security quotes for Fidelity on the first of the month.

This was originally included at the end of discussion 7972116 that dealt with other issues that have been resolved. So I though it best to open a new one.

I have confirmed that Quicken is not downloading the previous day's closing prices on the first day of the month. When I ran update this morning, none of the Treasury securities or CD securities had data for 4/30/26. Please see screen shots below.

Note that the data for the CD's for 4/29 and previous dates were adjusted each day to correct the rounding after the decimal point from 2 digits to 3 digits. This was required to match the closing prices shown on Fidelity's holdings page on their web site so that the data in Quicken matches that on Fidelity's site and is a known issue.

I noticed this occurred on April 1 and believe that it also occurred on March 1.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can provide to help resolve this issue.

I saw 4/30 updates from 8:00 AM this morning.

I ran Scheduled Updates at 7:57am CDT on 5/1, and also got quotes for 4/30 … along with 15 transactions from Fidelity since yesterday was month-end.

@Mr.Bill do you also hold any stocks or funds? Did they get quotes for 4/30?

I have been running my updates between 6:00 am and 7:00 am PDT every day to make the adjustments for the pricing of the CD accounts. I only have Treasuries and CD's which always have data on the other days. I reran the update again at around 9:00 am and still did not get quotes, so I manually entered them. Transaction activity is minimal as it only occurs with new purchase or end of term redemption or interest payment which are biannual or annual. Everything works as expected except for month end data pulled on the first of the month. The data is always present on Fidelity's positions page on their web site at time that I do the updates.

The end of month quotes that are not downloading are those that should be provided by Fidelity but are not available from Quicken's quote provider.

In @Mr.Bill's case it is T bills and a CD.

I see the same issue with Fidelity's proprietary funds in a 529 account. I did not get quotes for 1/31, 3/31 or 4/30. 2/28 was a Saturday so I would not expect a quote for that date.

Just a quick update.

I have contacted Quicken support on this and they have opened a ticket on it. We will revisit the issue if and when it occurs on May 1. At that time, I won't do the manual entries until after I get support online and they can see the issue themselves. They did not see anything in the logs uploaded from my system so they will monitor it on their end at that time when the update is run. We did attempt to do a test by creating a new Quicken file and setting up the Fidelity accounts again. After the update, the accounts only had two quote entries in the history table, one for the previous day and one that appears it was associated with the date the security was acquired. Looking at my accounts at other institutions, they verified that this was only happening with my two accounts at Fidelity
