Donut Graph Inconsistencies - Again

There is a long-running unresolved issue with donut graphs using latest Quicken Classic on Windows.

On my home page summary view, I have added the donut graph Allocation by Security for All securities. Directly to the right of the donut graph, is a listing of top ten holdings, and other. The Total is reported. Call this total X.

Now I click Show Full Graph, and a larger graph appears in a new window with top 10 and other listed. The Total is reported in this window. Call this total Y. Y is close to X, but not equal to X.

Now from this large graph window I click Show Report and scroll to the bottom of the report to see the total. Call this total Z. Z is close to X and Y but not equal to X and Y.

So, I am viewing the exact same report in three different views and get three different summary results. Does anybody have a way to bring these reports into alignment?

This is a guess that might be the answer to what you're seeing here.

It appears to me that the investment information in Quicken within all these "dashboards" that Quicken has set up IS NOT coming from the same set of "facts."

Click on the Investing tab, click on "Portfolio" then click on "Show." One by one look at any and all of the "views" that are there including ones you've created over the years and see if the "Market Value" total of one or more of those views isn't the source of those X, Y, and Z numbers.

In my own investigation of discrepancies within the investment totals of these various dashboards I found that I could find the erroneous numbers I was seeing. Turns out that, for whatever reason, the various reports had some differences as to the actual securities in my portfolio.

However, within the Quicken graph display, I'm just asking for different views of what should be exactly the same data. Yes, Quicken is not looking at the set of facts.

Yep, that's exactly what I'm referring to. Here's an example:

Right now the Home > Portfolio Value dollar amount (X) is wrong compared to the Investments dollar amount in that Account Bar (Y). If I click on that dollar amount value (X) (it's a hyperlink) I'm in the Investing tab > Dashboard and the value there (Z) is different from both X & Y. I can find Z by clicking on the Investment tab > Portfolio > Show Fundamentals.
