AmEx Delegate Access

Have multiple amex accounts and some have last 5 digits so Quicken was mismatching accounts. Had to start using delegate access, which fixed the problem but forced to use 2FA with every download. Unable to turn off 2FA with AmEx. Now that accounts are matched, I was considering deactivating online access and reactivating using regular access but afraid somehow I will re-create the original problem. Any advice?
