    Hello @AB123,

Thank you for letting us know you're encountering this issue. To start troubleshooting, please follow these steps from our support article on 16503 errors:

If you have not yet signed up for the bill payment service provided by your financial institution, but have enabled that service in Quicken, you will get this error. Make sure that your account settings in Quicken match the services currently provided by your financial institution. To do so:

    1. Open the register for the affected account.
    2. Click the Settings button in the bottom right corner.

    1. In the Account Settings screen, click Bill Pay.
    MacAccountSettingsBillPayTab_0.png
    1. In the Bill Pay tab, review if the Bank Bill Pay status is set to On. If you don't have Bill Pay enabled with your bank, but the status in Quicken is On, you will need to turn it off.

    If the issue persists

If the issue is not resolved after following the steps above, you will need to contact your financial institution to resolve this issue. Quicken does not have access to the financial institution's servers to correct the problem. This may require you to ask to speak with an online services specialist who handles transaction download issues at the financial institution. If your financial institution states it can't assist, an escalation with the financial institution may be necessary.

Please let me know how it goes!

Prior to posting I had already tried all of the listed troubleshooting steps for the error code that I could find. I have never used Bill Pay via Quicken in any form, and it is not enabled.

The Lincoln accounts in question that are now receiving this error message worked perfectly for over 6 months.

As the troubleshooting steps did not work, I contacted the financial institution, Lincoln Financial, and was told that they could not help me. I requested escalation and spent over 45 minutes on the phone without resolution.

I was able to successfully manually download Lincoln transaction information directly from the Lincoln website, and the Lincoln web services rep said this indicated the problem was on Quicken's side. The Lincoln Financial "web services" rep instructed me to contact Quicken as they "could not help me."

Very frustrating to be told by Quicken to contact my financial institution, and then to be told by my financial institution that I need contact Quicken.

Same Problem Here. Same Code. Worked fine for years. Last few days have been unable to connect.

    OFX Error: 16503

No bill pay ever on my end. Just downloads.

A little more clarity or suggestions from quicken would be helpful.

I am currently using the Mac Version.

I had already reported the problem to Quicken multiple times over the past few days, and just again submitted a problem report / logs.

    Quicken Anja,

Can you confirm that there is a specific open ticket for Lincoln Financial Group and the 16503 error?
