How to manually match downloaded payees

Hello,

Issue has been goinig on for at least a year, but I have been dealing with it.

Some downloaded payees do not get matched with my manually entered items.   In the past (years ago), I could highlighht both items and click Match or something similar to that.

Auto add to banking is NOT on….I do not want to do that as I would much rather just manually match the items that do not match.

Is there a way to do this?

Manually Match suggests that you've previously added these transactions to Q and subsequently they're downloaded from your bank/card/etc.

How far apart are the dates of the manual input and downloaded txn?  Are the amounts identical? Is the manual input date prior to the download date?

Because when I have had this happen, the first thing I've looked for is "Why didn't it automatically match"? "What's different?"

And when I've clicked on the txn in the download panel, it's brought up possible candidate 'matches' for me to review.  Is that not happening for you?
