Problem with date Ascending Order not working properly!

My credit card entries are in ascending order by date.

Recently, whenever I try to add an entry it goes to the top. For example…the dates are ascending from March 2 to May 7, 2026. When I attempt to enter May 14, 2026 , the entry goes above March 2 instead of below May 7.

I have tried toggling the the Ascending/Descending Option and it still will not work properly.

It is only happening for one particular Credit Card and not for other accounts like CCs or checking.

Please save images to files of file type PNG or JPG only.

BTW: Are you sure that the register is correctly sorted by Date and not some other column? Are there any filters in effect?
