One Step Update now goes to One Step Update Settings instead of automatically syncing.
Not for nothing, but this change is new and I think it's related to specific bank connections. My credit union recently changed back end systems and I had to get Quicken to correct it on their end. Ever since, clicking on Update Now brings you to the Settings screen where you have to click Update Now a second time to actually update.
However, if I disable the online connection to my credit union Quicken goes back to working as it has for the last decade - automatically updating when I click on Update Now.
So that begs the question, is there a way to request a feature request to allow us to check a box or something that says "don't show this screen again" or something so that? This is such an easy problem to fix on Quicken's end of things. Changing the behavior for a subset of all users instead of providing options is not exactly ideal or fair.
That or I request One Step Update be renamed to Two Step Update to more accurately reflect the behavior.
Hi @NTPanaccio, Thank you for taking the time to reach out with your request. I found an existing Idea post related to your request. You can vote on the existing Idea, or if you have a different suggestion, you can create a new Idea so other users who have the same or a similar request can vote on your idea
Ideas are also reviewed by our Development and Product teams in order to improve Quicken and implement new features requested by customers.
Thank you!
Just voted. Let that tip the scales in favor of making this change because the current process makes zero sense.
Hi @NTPanaccio,
