Quicken Premier R67.10 on W11.
In April I rec’d a popup warning not to have Quicken backups stored in a synced One Drive folder. I had to have my PC tech guy help me move Quicken out of One Drive as the Quicken-provided instructions did not work to create the folder outside of One Drive. Now experiencing issues with backup. I have configured automatic backup to run every 5 times and to save the last 5. When in Quicken I use preferences > backup and try to open the backup folder, it returns “the backup directory has not been created yet. It will be created on first automatic backup.” This despite running Quicken dozens of times over the last weeks. But navigating outside of Quicken I find one but only one local backup (not 5), after running Quicken numerous times over several weeks. It is now found in C:\quickdata\quicken and shows a file dated the same day as opening quicken. I also do a manual backup to an external drive about every 5 occurrences. What am I doing wrong and how to do I fix this?
