Receiving the above error since 5/18/26. It asks for an authentication code, which I enter, but still receive error. I have unlinked the accounts, but now I am unable to relink them, due to same error.

On 5/13/2026 Quicken Classic One Step Update generates C-800 errors when attempting to connect and download account transactions. I've attempted all of the recommended steps listed in Help to resolve the issue, but no luck. I even removed MFA from my RBFCU accounts in effort to correct, but no change. RBFCU recommended I escalate to Intuit for resolution.

Thanks for reaching out to the Quicken Community and for sharing the steps you have taken so far.

After internal research, I found that the error INVALID_CREDENTIALS for the connected accounts with Randolph-Brooks FCU is related to the CC-503 error.

Before proceeding with any troubleshooting steps, I recommend creating a backup file. If you haven’t done so already, please follow the steps below to deactivate and reactivate the affected accounts, including any hidden or closed accounts.

To deactivate an account:

Select the Tools menu and choose Account List.
In the Account List, click Show hidden accounts (if applicable) in the lower-left corner.
Select the account you want to deactivate and click Edit.
In the Account Details window, select the Online Services tab.
Click Deactivate next to the service you want to disable.
Click Yes to confirm.

Once you have deactivated all Randolph-Brooks FCU accounts, try connecting the accounts again.

To reactivate the account(s):

Go to Tools > Add Account.
Select the bank for the deactivated account(s). If prompted, choose the appropriate connection method.
Enter your credentials and click Connect.
When the list of discovered accounts appears, select LINK next to each account you want to reactivate.
Click Next, then Done on the final prompt.

I'm having the same issues with Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union connection. I tried deactivating the connection and adding it back in, but no success. It was working earlier this month. What happened?

After checking my internal tools, I found that you are experiencing a different error. It is showing FDP-106, which is related to the CC-506 error in Quicken for Windows. However, the troubleshooting steps to resolve it are the same as those provided above.

Since you have already tried those steps without success, I recommend contacting Quicken Support for further assistance. They can guide you through additional troubleshooting steps in real time or escalate the case if necessary.

Phone support is available Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM PT to 5:00 PM PT.

I spoke to RBFCU and they have confirmed they have temporarily blocked Quicken access, due to a significant spike in activity. They said they are working with Quicken to resolve the issue and encourage us to also call Quicken, because apparently, they are not getting a quick reply.

Reported issue to Quicken on May 28th using the "report issue" button. Spoke to IT department at RBFCU and they have tried to contact Quicken to get the problem resolved but have not received a response. Balls in your court Quicken

I'm not sure what is taking so long. I spoke to RBFCU about the ongoing issue and they informed me, they detected and unusual spike in Quicken traffic and turned off access. It's my understanding RBFCU is blocking Quicken until they explain the increase. They asked me to contact Quicken support to help increase the priority, because they weren't getting a response from them. Once they have a satisfactory explanation/fix they will unblock it. Sounds to me like the ball is 100% in Quickens court. Here is the link to Alert I initiated.

I'm having the same issue and it's frustrating that Quicken is not communicating with RBFCU to resolve the issue.

Is there an ETA for resolution of this RBFCU connect errors? It is frustrating that I cannot do banking and this error has been going on for sometime. I reported it to Quicken weeks ago.

I just checked the status of CTP-17431. Unfortunately, there is no ETA available at this time. Hopefully, we will have an update to share soon.

In the meantime, if your financial institution supports Web Connect, you can manually import transactions by downloading a QFX file. I recommend following the steps below:

To activate a Web Connect account:

On your financial institution's website, select the option to download your account information as a Web Connect (QFX) file.
If prompted, click Open.
If this is the first time you have downloaded information for this account, or if Quicken cannot determine which account to download the transactions into, you will be prompted to identify the Quicken account you use to track this financial information.
If you have already set up a Quicken account for this financial institution account, select Account already exists, then choose the account from the drop-down menu.
If you have not yet set up a Quicken account for this financial institution account, select Create a new Quicken account, then click Continue.
Click Continue. Your recent account history will be downloaded from your financial institution into Quicken. Depending on the amount of information being transferred, you may see a progress bar indicating the status of the download.
Once the download is complete, accept the downloaded transactions into Quicken.
After the initial download and processing, you can download additional Web Connect files through the Online Center by clicking Update/Send.

If this is the level of support Quicken now provides, it may be time to start looking elsewhere. Have been a Quicken user since DOS and have never seen such a slow response to an obvious problem. [Removed-Rant]
