Add MCP (Model Context Protocol) Integration for AI Assistant Connectivity

I'd like to request that Quicken develop an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server to enable direct integration with AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and others.

MCP is an open standard created by Anthropic that allows AI assistants to securely connect to external apps and data sources. Several personal finance platforms have already built MCP integrations, allowing users to check balances, track expenses, and analyze spending directly through their AI assistant of choice.

As a longtime Quicken user, I'd love to manage and track expenses through Claude without having to leave my existing Quicken data behind. An MCP connector would keep Quicken competitive as AI-assisted personal finance becomes the norm.

That sounds to me like trying to fit an Autopilot to a Ford Model T.

I'd really like an official MCP server where Quicken supports modifying transactions through the AI as well. Or even an official local versioned API that allows the community to build an MCP server that won't regularly break from underlying changes.

I'm currently using https://github.com/dweekly/quicken-mac-mcp to read transactions, and it has been phenomenally helpful for generating reports that Quicken for Mac simply can't do today.

I disagree with the sentiment that its practically totally impossible since unofficial MCPs have already been built.
