I have been attempting to add a fidelity account to quicken and it keeps failing.

I go through all the steps, get redirected to Fidelity, log in and accept their disclaimers, select the specific account on fidelity then after I get a screen from fidelity that says it has been accepted and I will be redirected back to quicken, the quicken pop up says that the attempt has failed.

Yet, fidelity said I was successful before redirected back to quicken.

Any ideas?

That was the problem - Thanks!

But now a different problem, went through the entire process, fidelity authorized and I was returned to quicken.

I went through the quicken screens to add the account, but when this was completed and I returned to the quicken my money screen the account was not added. I went through the process twice and no fidelity account. Any idea why?

what do you mean by "my money screen"? That's not terminology that I recognize?

What type of Q account are you talking about? Is this, perhaps, a "Linked Checking Account" which represents the cash held in a taxable brokerage acct?

Which specific Q fund holds this cash?

I click on the add account link in quicken and am redirected to fidelity where I go through the process of authorizing, idientifying the account, etc.

Eventually I am redirected back to quicken where I am asked the type of account and action, which I identify as adding an account.

Then that quicken screen is closed and my main page returns with the various accounts listed in a column on the left side. The fidelity account was not added.

Does that make more sense?
