Downloaded transactions take a long time to "accept" now

Ever since the most recent software update, accepting downloaded transactions is super slow. Like five seconds per transaction. Is this a known issue? Will it get fixed?

To better assist you, could you please provide the following details?

Where is your Quicken data file stored? Is it on your local hard drive (C: Drive) or a cloud-based/external drive (e.g.: OneDrive, DropBox, USB, etc.)?
- Please provide the exact file path as shown in the example below.
Have you attempted any troubleshooting steps so far? If so, what were they?
Are you using a VPN while updating your accounts? If so, does disabling it make any difference?
Do you have any antivirus or malware protection software running that may be interfering with Quicken? If so, have you tried temporarily disabling it to see if the issue persists?
When did this issue first start occurring?
Were there any significant changes to your system or software before the issue began (updates, new installations, etc.)?

Your answers will help us diagnose the issue more effectively.

@Quicken Anja I'm seeing the same thing. It was also reported in another post (How to fix slowness when accepting downloaded transactions). @Quicken Kristina and @Quicken Alyssa are aware of it also and Alyssa reported similar issues with her own quicken file. Roughly 5 seconds per downloaded transaction to accept. My file is on the C drive.

After doing some further digging, this is in fact a known issue that has already been escalated. The ticket remains open and a fix is in the works, though we do not have an ETA on resolution at this time.

I want to be clear here. The issue started IMMEDIATELY after the most recent software update.

So I can tell you I don't use a VPN, my data file is on OneDrive, and I use BitDefender for security. But none of that information OUGHT to make a difference, because none of that has changed. This issue was not happening until the most recent software update, so I think we can fairly safely say the issue was caused by something in the update. Which means it's up to you folks to fix it.

I understand your point that the issue began immediately after the update. After further investigation, this has been confirmed as a known issue affecting some users after the recent release. The issue has already been escalated to the appropriate team, and a fix is in progress.

At this time, we do not have an ETA for when the fix will be available, but the team is aware of the issue and continuing to work on it.

The information I requested (file location, security software, etc.) also helps us identify patterns and determine whether there are any additional factors involved.

Same issue, data on C: (not OneDrive or cloud), always pretty quick in the past, now several seconds per transaction (not in complicated investment accounts - even simple transactional accounts)
