Longtime Quicken user… I have only seen this problem in the past few weeks. Never seen it before, but it has now happened twice:
Normally, any transaction I enter into the Register manually has a red pencil icon and "Uncleared" indicating it has not yet been matched to a downloaded transaction.
What is happening is now every transaction I manually enter has a grey envelope and the word "sent" instead of the red pencil.
If I edit or delete the transaction I get a pop-up message that says: This online transfer has already been processed. Changing or deleting it will affect the register only.
This happens to ANY new transaction on ANY account. Even those accounts with online bill-pay turned off, or those where it shouldn't even be permitted (ex: credit card accounts with Express Web Connect)
I have rebooted with no change.
The last time this happened I discovered that Quicken no longer thought I was signed-in and I had to re-sign in as a "different user" and I think that is what fixed it?? Today I confirmed I am signed in, and I did a "Refresh Sign In…" but that did not solve it
I am running Quicken Classic Deluxe on Windows 10 - R67.10 (27.1.67.10)
