Win 11 Pro says Win 11 Enterprise in Quicken Help/About with Win 11 Snap function

Is that going to cause any problems with Quicken Classic Deluxe version R67.10?

I am trying to get Win 11 Pro & the Snap Screen to work with Quicken Classic & it does not work.

I use Snap all the time but hovering over the Maximize button in Quicken does nothing, the small screen showing the various options (below) does not work/display in Quicken.

Quicken is the only program that does not display the above various options for Snap.

I wanted to split the screen between my bank checking account activity & the Quicken checking account data I've keyed in. Can't get the screen to split in Quicken like it does for all the other apps I use.

The Quicken developers have chosen to replace the standard Windows main frame with their own. That is why you see these non-standard controls below and why the snap controls don't work.

@NotACPA Window 11 Enterprise is in the Help → About dialog.

And it has always reported "Enterprise" even though my version has always been Pro.

EDIT: You can still split screen with another application if you start with the other application.

WHERE is Q showing your operating system info?

And that graphic that you're showing is a Win11 function, not a Q function.

And, precisely, what do you mean by "snap screen"? Is that a screen snapshot? If so, using what product?

@Chris_QPW Thanks for the info. I'd always been focused on the data above that … and had never noticed the OpSys line.

BUT, after reading your message, I checked my file and it shows accurately.:

Yeah, and I forgot to mention, @Berlin-Dennis did describe how snap works and show what it should do, hover over the maximize button on another application like your web browser to see how it should work.

What I did find out is doing a Window Key + Z will get that selection screen to appear in the upper5 right hand corner of my screen. Yes, this is a Windows function of splitting/sharing my screen into two halves, or what ever arrangement is allowed. I think the Official name is the Windows Snap Tool. The way all my other program react is, when I hover over the Restore/Maximize icon in the upper right hand corner, just left of the X, this selection box is displayed. When running Quicken Classis Deluxe, I can use the shortcut key of windows + Z & it shows the 6 screen choices for me. If that is what it takes, then I just need to remember that shortcut key combination. Quicken must not recognize a mouse "hover" over the Restore/Maximize icon, at least that is my impression.

Thanks for the comments. I will have to get to support & see what their take is on what I'm finding works & doesn't work.

I see Chris_QPW has another idea, so I will ponder on that as part of my "problem".
