Capture of Usage Data

I'd like to see a field(s) available on a transaction to capture usage/consumption alongside the $ amount to track usage over time. For example, kwh from an electric bill, therms from natural gas bill, gallons from a water bill, or hours from a landscape services bill. Additionally the associated reporting to view YOY, seasonal and historic trends.

I've been a customer for 34 years and this data could've been helpful during droughts or for water leak detection.

That would, IMNSHO, cover so few transactions that I have a tough time seeing the value of a new field.

As an alternative (and i think there's already an Idea to this effect) let the existing Memo field be usable as a criteria (not just display) for reporting.
