Downloading transactions for Ally Invest

Question

Ally Invest is set up for "simple investing" only.  Is there a way I can download the transactions, or do I need to enter each one manually?  If I need to enter them myself, how do I do that?  I have a "robo account", which has a lot of small transactions, so I'd rather not enter them myself if I don't need to.

@vgburke85 Also note that you CAN continue with Simple tracking only.  All of  your positions will be downloaded … just not the transactions that make up those positions.

But  since this is a "robo account", where you personally aren't actually  making the investment decisions, do  you actually need the transactions?  With Simple,  you'll still get the Positions, and the Value of the account, you just won't be able to see all  of  those small  transactions.

Thank you for reaching out! If the option is greyed out, then it means the financial institution does not currently support it.

If you need to enter the transactions manually, you would need to backup your Quicken file and deactivate the account. Doing so will give you access to the investment transaction register, allowing you to manually enter transactions.
