One Step Update no longer downloading transactions.

Recently the One Step Update has stopped downloading transactions from my credit card companies. There is no error given, it goes through the process saying it is connecting, processing, downloading then says it has completed. However, no new transactions show up and I know there are new transactions since my last successful download. Anyone know why the transactions no longer download? TIA

When you do TOOLS, Account List … what shows in the "Transaction Download", "Last Download" and "Financial Institution" columns next to each o those card accounts?

Do other accounts (such as checking or investments) still download transactions?

If you go directly to the websites of the banks that issue the cards, do the transactions show there?

I only download from 2 credit cards so I can't say if other accounts work. Transaction Download shows: Yes (Express Web Connect +), Last Download shows today's date and Financial Institution shows American Express and Chase. If I go directly to those web sites, the transactions show there and I have been manually entering them.

I don't have an AMEX (got rid of it years ago), but I'm having no problems downloading from Chase into 2 credit card accounts.

Since these are your only downloads, a bit more info is needed: When you do HELP, About Quicken … what shows as your Version and your "Subscription Valid Until …" date?

OK, kinda what's left at this point is for you to create a new, temporary, Q data file with ONLY the Chase credit cards in it and see if you can download into this temp file.

A little more info. I was using Quicken on my desktop computer which still has Windows 10. I also have a laptop with Windows 11 so loaded Quicken on it, restored a backup and One Step Update works fine on the laptop, so it must be an issue with Windows 10.

Just chiming in on this.

The location of your file on the Windows 10 computer could affect the way it behaves.

The default location for a Quicken Windows file is C:/Users/username/Documents/Quicken, and this is where we recommend keeping it. If your file is being stored externally or synced by any third-party services like OneDrive, Dropbox, or Carbonite, it could cause corruption to the file. This only applies to the file you are actively using. Storing backups on a cloud service, or in an external location, is not only ok to do, but also recommended.

You can easily check where the data file is located on the Windows 10 computer by opening Quicken and going to File. Near the bottom of the menu, the last 4 files you have opened will be listed. The one you are currently in will be labeled "1" and have a checkmark next to it. The full file path should be listed there.

Let us know where your file is located, and we can go from there! You can share a screenshot of it if that's easier. If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on attaching a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
