07/01 Update - Just need to set up personal finance aggregator in VA59.

Is this the right place to report bug? If not, please let me know where to submit. Thanks

Problem statement: Can't add new Virginia529 account due to new url: www.invest529.com

Existing linked account still get update from the old url www.virginia529.com but when attempting to add new account, getting CC-503 error.

Per Virginia529's contract with Intuit, the online services provider for Q, it's Virginia529's responsibility to notify Intuit IN A TIMELY MANNER, of any such changes.

It's NOT a bug, it's the plan's failure to comply with the terms of the contract … and ONLY the Plan can notify Intuit of such changes.

Go bug the Plan, and tell them the PITA they've caused you.

BTW, even if they HAVE already notified Intuit of the change, the clearly didn't do so in a timely manner, such that Q/Intuit could make their corresponding changes. And if they haven't made such notice, then this change will go to the back of the line, behind providers who DID make timely notice.

Quicken is now been notified by its users, so they should have enough information to begin investigating the issue. While VA529 may also need to be involved, Quicken does not have to wait for VA529 before taking proactive steps to identify and resolve the problem, yes?

PS, how do you know about VA529's contract with Intuit?

Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue! As @NotACPA said: if this issue is caused by the financial institution changing its URL, the financial institution would need to notify the aggregation service provider (Intuit) of the change.

If you would like to troubleshoot the error message you're seeing, I recommend that you start by following these steps from our article on 529 accounts: To resolve this issue

Log in to your 529 account at the financial institution's website.
Go to Profile & Documents.
Select Password & Security Features.
Select Manage Financial Aggregator Access, then enable Quicken.
Try connecting the account again.

Quicken is now been notified by its users, so they should have enough information to begin investigating the issue.

Because it's the standard contract, between Intuit and any FI, that's been discussed here multiple times.

And, as I already stated, it's not Q that needs to be notified, it's Intuit … and ONLY VA529 can direct Intuit to change the URL.

This is user error not a bug. Followed the recommended steps by @Quicken Kristina and all setup.

1. Log into VA529

2. Go to Manage My Accounts > Link Personal Finance Software.

3. Select Create New > Getting Started.
