Updating Accounts that require MFA (such as Venmo in my case) has stopped working correctly recently in the mobile app (iOS, in my case). When I open the app and swipe down to update accounts and pull new transactions from financial institutions, the app asks me to select an MFA method for Venmo (which is expected). I chose to receive an SMS code to my cell phone number, and I did get texted a code, but the Quicken app just hangs at that point (spinning) and never moves to the next step, where it has me enter the code I was texted. The only way I’ve found around this is to fully close out of the app, reopen it, re-swipe down to update accounts again and then it picks up where the MFA flow left off and prompts me to enter the code I was texted. After entering the code, the Quicken app once again just spins and never finishes updating accounts until I once again close out of the app, reopen it, re-swipe down to update accounts again, at which point it finally recognizes that the Venmo account has been verified and finishes updating accounts.
Anyone else experiencing this? I’m running the most recent version of the Quicken Classic companion app for iOS (version 8.3.0) on iOS 26.5.2 on an iPhone 17 Pro.
