Reports do not save "Cents (no rounding)" choice

No matter how many times I run, edit, and save reports the Y/N selection in the boolean "Cents (no rounding)" field is not retained when reopening the report. I have not been able to find a combination of actions that resolves this. Please fix.

Curious, because I just pulled up a report with "Cents (no rounding)" UNchecked … and no cents were displayed in the report.

SO, what Q product are you running, and what VERSION of that product? Click HELP, About Quicken for this info.

Same problem: uncheck "Cents (no rounding)", save report, open report - and the cents are back. This is for an "account balances" report.

Thank you for sharing what you’re experiencing. I’d appreciate it if you could provide the following information:

Did this issue start recently?
Is this happening only with the “Account Balances” report, or are you seeing the same behavior with other reports as well?
When you uncheck the “Cents (no rounding)” option, do you see the change applied to the report before saving it?
Do you open the saved report by going to Reports > My Saved Reports & Graphs?

I think the issue might be that the "Hide cents in reports by default" setting in Preferences overrides the setting in report customization.

Check the setting in Preferences→Reports only→Other Settings, and check or uncheck as appropriate.

Sorry I don't ride this website for feedback, expected to get notifications when there was a response, probably a setting under Reports Only ;-)

@Sceptic you nailed it! My default was NOT set to round, changed it to yes, open the reports and they're rounded to whole dollars. So, why is there a report-level choice if it is always overridden by the Preferences setting? Personally don't care now - I always want it in whole dollars. Maybe the report level choice is an artifact and implementation of the Pref level choice failed to clean up the report level choice???

If it's a global choice only, remove the report level choice. If report level is a customization option then save that with the report.
