It has been HORRIBLE since it started. When I call either company, Quicken blames Merrill and Merrill blames Quicken. Today all I wanted to do was update my accounts by downloading transactions, used to be SO EASY. 6hrs later still nothing. I've tried everything that worked last time, reset account, deactivate account, all accounts, one account. I learned last time to only deactivate one account then retry so every account doesn't get hosed up. One time it actually worked and downloaded every transaction from the beginning of time and I had to correct 18 accounts. Took me 16hours. Today, deactivated one and still waiting on it to "reconnect". I've been authorized through Merrill so many times it filled up a page of my inbox. What used to take me 15 minutes to download from Merrill the exact dates and accounts I wanted now makes me want to throw the computer out the window. I'd love to lose Quicken and Merrill because of this lousy experience and worse support but 20+ years of both at my age, I'd be dead before I put everything into another program as no doubt downloading from Quicken would take an eternity if it worked at all. Currently at the 15min mark for 1 account to reactivate. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for allowing the vent. Any advice would be appreciated.
