Since March 2026, my normal means for tracking an expense from a stock (such as foreign tax payment or other fee [i.e. noted as "bank charge"] on a security) has not worked successfully to account for the expense. Otherwise, this method has been successful for many years. It seems to only apply to a Roth IRA account. You'll see below in the screenshot that a January 15th expense shows in one row "MiscExpX" while the row below as MiscExp." Note, the row without the "X" was due to me attempting to troubleshoot my March expenses with ones that had worked, and I no longer can get this January expense to reflect a miscellaneous expense transfer. The problem is that I now have a perpetual negative cash account (screenshot below) when I check holdings when before that expense was reconciled in the Roth "Contributions" ledger account.
How can I get the MiscExpX back? Thanks
