I posted in March 2026 "I think I know what the problem with Synchrony Connection is". There were 12 replies and the post was closed. Some people said they were able to use old passwords. And someone posted about SYNCHRONY.COM.
I came back to post an update that I'd found a way in but knightdragon89 beat me to it! and posted this :
"I think I found a hack. Synchrony is using www.synchrony.com. If you select Value City Furniture Credit Card in the Search for your financial institution, it matches the URL being used. I entered my Synchrony 'new sign-in experience' login, and IT WORKED."
Or in the search bar type SYNCHRONY.COM and it will bring up Value City Furniture Credit Card. The deal is that when you look at the URL it says SYNCHRONY.COM. Not some other URL-derivative for some other SYNCHRONY-derivative you get when you search for SYNCHRONY.
Works like a charm and downloads all my transactions for all the Synchrony card-derivatives. EXCEPT for something that rides in PayPal. PayPal credit (operated by SYNCHRONY but only visible in PayPal)
Now I'm off to figure out how to fix this issue. Downloading PayPal transactions is sort of screwed up since they introduced these PayPal-Derivatives!
