I haven't had any transactions from my PayPal Mastercard downloaded since the end of June. I though they fixed this. Is anyone else seeing this?

Hello @Marvin Gardens,
Thank you for reporting this issue. Missing transactions—especially when no error code appears—can happen for a few different reasons. Below are some things to check which you can also review in more detail in this support article.
First, for a one-time occurrence:
If this happens frequently:
If none of these steps resolve the issue, please reach out to Quicken Support for further assistance.
Thank you!
I got one dump of transactions from PayPal/Synchrony about 3 weeks ago and also thought that the problem had finally been fixed. But, like Marvin Gardens, I haven't gotten anything since. All of the things we are told to try are basically making sure that the user hasn't messed something up. I've been using Quicken for about 20 years now and the download used to work fine for a couple of years, until a few months ago now, when it just quit downloading transactions, even though it gets a correct online balance. All of these new Quicken features that have just come out are great (maybe), but if the basic stuff stops working that should certainly be the priority! I WANT MY BASIC STUFF TO WORK.
Quicken download a bunch of transactions today (July 25). The last time was June 22. Is it possible they are only being posted monthly?
Thank you for your replies,
Are these transaction downloads lining up with when your statement closes?
Yes. About an hour after I made that last post I got the message that my monthly account statement was ready.
Thank you for confirming,
It is possible that they've shifted to making transactions available only once a month. Have you contacted the financial institution to confirm if they've shifted to making transactions available for download only after the statement closes?
I’m experiencing the same issue as billyeff.
My PayPal Cashback World Mastercard (Synchrony) connected successfully and pulled a large catch-up batch of transactions after I re-authorized it earlier this summer, but new transactions have stopped downloading again. It’s been over a week with no new activity.
I’ve already tried the usual steps multiple times (deactivate/reactivate, clear Financial Institution fields, Refresh Sign In, and re-add via the generic PayPal option).
This matches the long-running Synchrony/PayPal Mastercard pattern. Any updates from the team would be appreciated.
I just spoke to customer service, After the typical battle through the AI, I spoke to a human, She verified that they only download transactions into Quicken when the monthly statement is prepared.
Based on how quickly she was able to provide that info I assume I was not the first to ask about that.
Thank you Marvin Gardens for letting us know. [Removed - Disruptive]
This is a PayPal Mastercard problem, not a Quicken problem.
Did Paypal customer service indicate this was a known intentional change in procedure as opposed to an unintended consequence of some other action? And if it's a mistake, are they trying to correct it? If not a mistake and they only intend to allow monthly transaction downloads - Why???
I spoke to Paypal customer service earlier and all they did was verify all my transactions were present at the web site, offer to email me my recent statements, and then give me the phone number for Quicen Support :(
It would be nice if Paypal Support could talk to Quicken Support and straighten this out rather than have their customers suffer through the grunt work.
The person I spoke to indicated that this is not a bug. This is the way it works. She did not elaborate on why they made this change. I expressed my displeasure, but have learned that arguing with a call center operator is a waste of time.
I have discussed this offline with other people who seem puzzled that anyone would want to download transactions on a daily basis. They point out that I can always use the PayPal app to see current transactions and have it send me notifications in real time. Again, arguing is not productive.
In the grand scheme of things, this is not a serious problem. I don’t use the card very much, only for PayPal purchases, so I get the 3% cash back, and redeeming those funds is a royal pain [Edited - Language].

I guess we all have different perspectives. I have multiple personal and business accounts. I want a global view of all my finances on demand. I want to be able to see a report of all my expenses by category on demand, not at the end of the month. I want to be able to add notes to the memo field as those expenses are transacted, not a month later when I may not remember the details.
Grok says there's no email for tech support. As you said, a call center operator is no help, and the chat box is a useless bot. Since this is my highest-usage personal credit card, I will keep trying, but it sounds like a new card may be in my future.
At least now I know there's at least one person out there who shares my frustration.
Just an FYI - now that I've dinged my credit report and gotten a new card, PayPal seems to have restored the immediate download functionality.
Thank you for the follow-up,
I'm glad to hear PayPal has restored the immediate download functionality!
