I have been having horrendous problems over the last 6 months with my brokerage accounts.
Connection to my accounts at Fidelity to download transactions has been lost several times. I’ve reset these accounts, but it keeps on happening.
In the last week or so, the ‘reconcile shares’ function is completely messed up. It says my brokerage account in Quicken is in disagreement with my Fidelity account. Yet when I check the share holdings manually, Quicken does match the shareholdings at Fidelity.
I have also had problems with my Schwab account since about July 28. Now when I reconcile shares in that account, the reconcile function is reporting shares that I moved out of the account on July 7th and not seeing shares I bought in the last week or so.
I spent 45mins on the phone with Quicken support just now – the guy was v unhelpful, didn’t listen to what I was saying, then hid behind ‘it’s a bug you’ll have to wait for an update!
I have been a Quicken user for 25 years, with 25 years of valuable data. I’ve never seen it as messed up as it is now. [Edited - Language]
Anybody have any ideas or thoughts on how I could resolve these issues?
