How to import OFX files?

Question

Quicken in Windows ver: R68.31 Build: 27.1.68.31

Apparently the "Navy Federal Credit Union" is now exporting data in the "OFX" format, so how can we import this data into Quicken?

Hoping for a quick solution, thank you.

In addition to what was already shared by @splasher and @Chris_QPW, please note that the file must contain the first seven comma-separated columns in exactly this order for it to be processed. The last three comma-separated columns are optional, but if included, they should appear in this order:

* Date *
* Payee *
* FI Payee
* Amount *
* Debit/Credit
* Category
* Account *
* Tag
* Memo
* Chknum

It should be mentioned that if one wants to use Quicken's built-in CSV import the columns and date have to be formatted how it expects.  If it isn't in that format, it is up to the user to find a way to convert it to this format.  For instance, rearranging columns.

You don't.  NFCU evidently decided to ONLY support Express Web Connect downloads.  You could complain to them, but I bet they won't change their decision.

I don't use NFCU, but if they make a .CSV file download available, you could use it.  I've never used this method since I use ImportQIF to create a QIF file for import, but it should do the trick.
