I have my paycheck memorized as a recurring transaction so I can enter it every two weeks. All of the amounts are fixed, including salary, deductions, taxes, retirement, etc. The paycheck transaction is set to deposit as follows: $1,000 to savings, with the balance (say, for this conversation, $5,000) to checking. Every two weeks I enter the transaction and everything is fine.
Shortly after I enter the transaction, the following happens: The CHECKING transaction CHANGES all by itself from a $5,000 credit to a $1,000 DEBIT, while the savings transaction remains unchanged. This alarms me because it's a net swing of -6,000 in my checking account.
If I open up the paycheck transaction and do NOTHING AT ALL except re-click the "enter" button, the checking transaction fixes itself back to a $5,000 credit and stays that way permanently. This appears to happen EXACTLY ONE TIME for every paycheck deposit, every two weeks. It's not a huge problem, but it's annoying and should be looked into. It's reproducible every two weeks when a new paycheck is entered.
