Date Format

I have changed my Windows date format to show both date and DAY in the task tray. I know that impacts how Quicken Classic displays the date (now ddmmyy, no /'s or .'s). Here is a good post on how to change it back. BUT I want Windows to show the date and day, and Quicken to use the US format of DD/MM/YY. Any suggestions?
