OSU throwing this error for checking account downloads. Credit card accounts download fine.
Oh - and the duplicate transactions are still being created for entries created using the calendar.
The error number is now CC-506, but the checking accounts are still not recognized.
Resetting the accounts does nothing. Deactivating, then reactivating recognized one checking account, but not the other.
Hello @wrldtvlr,
Thanks for reaching out!
I checked the account connection on our end, and it is showing the last connection attempt as successful. Are you still experiencing an issue with your checking accounts?
If so, could you provide some additional details about exactly what is occurring when you try to update the accounts? Screenshots of the error or behavior you’re seeing would also be helpful. If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
Thank you!
As of this morning, I'm no longer seeing the CC-505/CC-506 errors. However, Quicken is not recognizing one of my checking accounts. I go through the Setup Transaction Download process, successfully authenticate with USAA and return to Quicken. Only one of my checking accounts is shown, along with a savings account and credit cards. Are these are shown as linked and work fine.
@wrldtvlr Thank you for providing all of those additional details. Next, I suggest that you try adding the accounts in a new test file and let us know whether the same issue occurs there. This will help us determine whether we are looking at an issue isolated to your current data file or an issue with the data being returned from the financial institution.
Please follow the steps below to create a test file and add the account:
Don't use any of these characters: * ? < > | " : \ / (asterisk, question mark, left and right-angle bracket, pipe, straight quotation marks, colon, BACKSLASH, FORWARD SLASH). Also, don't add the .qdf extension; Quicken does that for you.
After adding accounts, see if you are experiencing the same problem in this test file. From there, you can then switch back to your original file.
Follow the steps below to switch files:
Quicken will list the most recently opened data files, with a checkmark next to the file you are currently viewing.
If the same behavior occurs in the test file, the next step would be to contact the financial institution, as it would indicate the account is not being provided through the financial institution's connection.
Thank you - I attempted to reactivate this account again this morning and it worked.
Thanks for the update! Glad to hear it's working now.
