New error message with Elan Financial

CP_SCRIPT_ERROR
General error. Layout has been changed.

I have never seen "Layout has been changed" before. And tried resetting downloads to no avail.

Any action I should take on my part or is this a Quicken or Elan issue to wait on?

Are folks using Fidelity Investments to connect to their Fidelity Rewards Visa seeing the same issue or should I try to change to Fidelity from Elan?

Seems either Quicken or Elan needs to fix this from what I can tell.

Would be nice to know if anyone can connect using Fidelity Investments as both have worked in the past. I'd change and relink if that is the case and if not, wait for Quicken/Elan to sort this out, hopefully in the morning.

I have not tried connecting using Fidelity Investments. Downloading via Elan starting yesterday returns the following error message. I find it interesting that the QMac error message is so different from this QWin error message.:

The only troubleshooting I've tried so far is to run Update Now after receiving this error message. I don't usually get very excited about receiving error messages that occur during OSU on weekends because they often are self-resolved by Monday. So, I wait until tomorrow before doing anything else regarding this matter.

@Boatnmaniac That is interesting. Two different explanations.

Please let me know if you do try Fidelity. I have to remember how to do that if it works. Stop current online connection, add new Fidelity, link to existing. Unlink and relink Online Biller? Seems a few pieces to the puzzle if it does work.

Also will be interesting if Quicken responds tomorrow morning.

Elan downloaded properly for me this morning, as well at 7am CST.

I did not try to set up this CC via Fidelity Investments. You are correct that if you wish to do this you will need to deactivate the current connection, add Fidelity Investments and link it to the existing CC account. I don't use Online Bills so I am not absolutely sure but I believe you are correct in that you will need to unlink the Elan biller and then link the Fidelity biller.

On August 30th, CC via Elan Financial failed. CC via Fidelity Investments worked ok. Quicken Simplifi which uses CC via Fidelity Investments also worked ok.

On August 31th, CC via Elan Financial worked ok.
