I think, based on what I have seen on the ML website, that this is a Merrill Lynch problem and Quicken did the best it could with what it got.
On 9/3/2026 there was a 2 for 1 stock split of Amphenol. You can google that - it did happen. I had 20 shares so that means I ended up with 40.
On 9/3/2026 I did a one step update and during that I got a popup which (I did not take a screen shot of it so I don't really remember exactly what it said) said there was such a stock split but there was no downloaded transaction and it offered me two choices and I took the default which resulted in an uncleared StkSplit transaction being added to my register. I went to the Merrill Lynch website and there was a pending stock split transaction there.
Over the next couple of days I got 3 0 dollar cash amount Amphenol dividend transactions:
Today I went to the ML website and the stock split transaction is gone but there are now these 3 dividend transactions:
No stock split transaction on ML web site. But ML website shows I have 40 shares. These ML transactions look like they are adding 20 shares twice and subtracting 20 shares once which results in me having 40 shares which is what the holdings in Quicken shows. So the numbers are right but…!?!?!
Anybody else seen anything like this?
Thanks
Jim
