I am on Windows 11. Starting yesterday, I have been getting the CC-501 error message when I am trying to update my Fidelity accounts. Anyone else having this issue? Is it a Quicken issue or should I contact Fidelity?
Thanks
Generally, CC-XXX error codes are specific to EWC and EWC+ connection methods so Quicken or Intuit (the aggregator) causes and they need to address them.
But before contacting Quicken (don't bother ever contacting Intuit….Quicken needs to do that when appropriate), you might want to try going to the Account Register of one of your Fidelity accounts and click on the upper right Gear icon. Then click on Edit Account Details and on the Online services tab click on Update Now. This often (not always) resolves CC-501 error codes.
If it fails to fix the issue for you, perhaps the steps mentioned in this following post thread might work for you:
Please post back here about whether or not either of these resolved the issue for you.
I'm having the same problem. The CC-501 error is "unspecified". It's odd, though, because each individual account shows it had connected and downloaded transactions, and the ones with new transactions did download them.
I reset the accounts but that didn't fix them (reset, not update now). So I will deactivate them all and reauthorize and see if that works.
