When I go to choose the columns I want, "Balance" is not in the list. Is there a type of report where the "Balance" column is an option?

The Balance column is not currently available in investment transaction reports. There is already a Product Idea requesting a Balance column in transaction reports, which you can find here:
I suggest adding your vote to the idea if this is a feature you'd like to see added. If your request is different, I encourage you to create a new Idea so other users with the same or a similar request can vote on it.
Ideas are also reviewed by our Development and Product teams as they work to improve Quicken and implement new features requested by customers.
