XRP (Ripple) Crypto Price Quotes

Question

Crypto price for XRP (Ripple) does not update correctly Monday thru Friday. It does update correctly on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). This has been an ongoing issue for many months.  When my investment portfolio is updated during the week, I have to delete all the incorrect XRP quotes (current and historical). When the investment portfolio is updated on the weekend, the daily quote is correct, but incorrect historical quotes are captured and must be deleted manually.

Is this a known problem? How can this be fixed?

Assuming you hold the Ripple currency and not the ETF, the ticker symbol in Quicken for Ripple should be  ^XRPUSD.

The weekend prices are being downloaded from your broker rather than Quicken's quote provider. You can edit the security details and change the symbol for your existing security. This will not affect the broker downloads because they use the CUSIP ID rather than the ticker symbol.

Back up your data file before you make this change, in case the result is not what you expected.

Fidelity suggests an ever so slightly different symbol, which seems to align with your ~$1.50 expectation.

I don't think you've got the correct symbol for what you own.  Because, this is what Fidelity is showing for the symbol XRP.  And approx $16.70 is correct for that symbol
