File saving
Hi @Keltic,
Thanks for reaching out to the Quicken Community and letting us know you're having trouble saving a file in PDF format. To better understand what's happening, let me ask you a few questions:
This information will help us better understand the issue and determine the most appropriate troubleshooting steps.
I look forward to your reply!
I can still save my report files as PDF files by using the Export or Print functions. You cannot do that?
No. When I go into Quicken report and try to call up Quicken NUL to save my report as a PDF, I keep getting the message that it does not recognize the driver
I am trying to save my Bank reconciliation report. I have had not problem using Quicken NUL to save it as a PDF file but last month this stopped. Having trouble insert error msg. But it states "PDF driver could not be found or initalized".
Thanks for your reply! If you haven't already, I recommend following the steps outlined in our support article for this error message. This error may indicate that the Quicken PDF driver is not installed correctly.
First, please confirm that you're using the latest version of Quicken Classic. Installing the latest release can resolve known issues and ensure that all Quicken components are up to date. If needed, you can download and install the latest version here: Download Quicken for Windows.
If you're already using the latest version, or the issue persists after updating Quicken, I recommend running the PDF driver installer as an administrator. To do so:
I hope this helps! Let us know how it goes!
Sounds like perhaps the driver is corrupted. I think @Quicken Carlos' suggestion might resolve the issue
Thank you Carlos! I follow your instructions and now I can get my reconciliation report into a PDF, But now I am getting the following error message: I do not have any other application running and I tried it a number of time with no success.
Carlos, I noticed that when I press on Quicken NUL aka: Quicken print properties The Amyuni application comes into play, is this normal? Amyuni does not show up in my list of printer. Should I try deleting Amyuni from my computer. I have not use this application ever.
@Keltic if the Quicken PDF printer doesn't work for you, there is a built in Windows PDF printer you can use.
In the Windows Search Box, type in "Turn Windows features on or off". In the pop-up screen select "Microsoft Print to PDF", then click OK when done.
When you want to print (save) a report to a PDF, this printer then will be available.
@Keltic I have never used Quicken NUL but could not even find it in Quicken Premier. How do I access Quicken NUL… thx
