Early morning update - shows investments up TODAY, nothing for yesterday

When I do a one-step update in the morning (prior to market open) to update my accounts, I noticed my investments are off. In Portfolio view, it shows all my investments are up today, even though the market hasn't opened. I move to yesterday, and there are no prices. How to fix this bug?

I am using Quicken 2016 for Windows, Release R12

When you do a one step update, are you downloading transactions from your finanancial institution or just updating quotes?

I thought One Step update did it all, but my main purpose is to download from my financial institutions.

You can ensure that quotes are updated when you do a OSU by changing the OSU settings:

Actually, I was thinking for troubleshooting to see where the erroneous prices are coming from, it would be better to update prices and update transactions separately.

The incorrect prices are just yesterday's prices marked as today. When I update portfolio a second time, it corrects itself to move those prices to yesterday.
