QMac: Can't auto download Fidelity cost basis, can it be imported?

I see it's a known issue that Fidelity doesn't allow Quicken to download all cost basis information automatically.  Is there a place in Fidelity where I can download this information or is my only option to manually enter?

    Manual is your only option.  The cost basis of a buy transaction is only recorded when the Buy is first downloaded/recorded.  And that's true for all brokerages ... not just Fidelity.

    If you used ADD transactions for those positions, you might be able to go back to each ADD and input the data.

    Wow, that's unfortunate! I have all of my cost basis information in an excel spreadsheet and in Gainskeeper.com and would easily be added if I could somehow import it from an excel spreadsheet.  Is that an option?

    Prices can be imported from a spreadsheet, via CSV ... but not cost basis.

    In Q, look at FILE, File Import to see what your importing options are.
