Reports will not display or print details when Description is selected

Trying to produce and print reports for tax preparation - when description is selected only total is shown no detail
Was not a problem on previous versions of Q including 2016 - which I just replaced

    I'm not sure I understand. How are you selecting description?

    Quicken user since Q1999. Currently using QW2017.

    If it is a report with selectable columns, try clicking on Reset Columns.

    I continued to work on this report - 
    I rebuilt it from scratch and was able to get info I need - just not in exact same format
    Probably due to some system changes in latest version

    the suggestions did not answer question.  On previous versions all the individual items appeared with amounts and then the totals.  Now only totals appear.

    Which report are you looking at? Tax Schedule? Tax Summary? Other transaction report?
    If you are using the Itemized Categories report, click the "Update to Show" button to expand the report and show Transaction Details.
