Do I need a mac to run quicken on ipad. I am currently using quicken 2017 for windows on my surface.

Be aware that the mobile app is only a companion and not a full fledged version. You still need the desktop version for most data updates and reporting.

You do not need to purchase the Quicken for Mac version to use the mobile app on the iPad.
