I get a nice report under spending, but how can I share it in email and show spending by amount?

The report is fantastic. Good enough to show to my wife but I want the list to be from most spending (mortgage) to least spending and I want to send it in email and I keep saying list by amount and NOTHING changes and when I export to Excel it gives me every one of my transactions when I really want only the totals for Mortgage and each category. But that never happens. Also when I get the window with the report it is way bigger than the monitor and I can only get rid of it with Esc and never can resize it.

How about using a PDF driver to "print" the report ... and then emailing that?

let's start with this: what is "the report" that you're talking about? Under Reports > Spending there's 11 different reports available.ASSUMING that the report under discussion is Spending > Reports > Spending by Category, then you get a list of your expenses for the period. If you've established sub-Categories then the report will list the total for the "Parent' Category and list out the amounts for each sub-Category below that. You can hide the sub-Category information by clicking the minus sign ( - ) next to each parent Category.In this report you cannot order the presentation from most spending to least spending. However, you can click the "Show Graph" button and get a pie chart that does indicate visually the relevant amounts; the largest Category will show the largest pie slice and Categories with less spending will have smaller pie slices.If you don't want to deal with graphics then export the report to Excel and sort on the dollar amount, from high to low.You can "print" to a software "printer" that converts what you're printing to a PDF. Windows 10 has "Microsoft print to PDF" built in, but there's other software available that will do the same thing.5

This is the "report" that I wanted to send by email - a graph and a summary list. I did export to Excel and did sort and it is OK. Just not what I wanted. But I will try some more.
