@Ronnie Gerstein First, is your Quicken.app installed in your Applications folder? (It normally is, but I just wanted to make sure before offering next step solutions.)
I would try installing a fresh copy of Quicken. To do this, first get rid of your existing Quicken application. For security, you can first save a compressed copy: in the Applications folder, Control-click on Quicken and select "Compress 'Quicken'", which will create a file called Quicken.app.zip. Take Quicken.app and drag it to the Trash. (You may get prompted for your admin password.) Now, log into your account on Quicken.com and near the bottom of the My Account page, click on Download for Mac to download a fresh copy of Quicken Mac. Install it, and you should be back in business, with the latest version.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19935

@Ronnie Gerstein Please provide more information so we can try to assist you. What version of macOS are you running? What is the current version of Quicken you are running (in the About Quicken dialog box). How are you trying to install the update, and what message do you get or what happens when you try?
