After conversion to Mac missing Account Bar

I recently moved from parallels to Mac. Everything is fine except no accounts listed under the account tab. I have to go to file, open recent to open

@bevalish. You're mixing " data files" and "accounts", so it's not clear where your problem is.
File > Open Recent allows you to open a data file of your choosing. Some people have only one; some people have several data files if they keep records for other people or organizations.
Once you open a data file, you should see the main Quicken screen, which has the Accounts heading on the top blue bar of the left parts of the screen, called the sidebar. (I think that's what you mean by "Accounts tab", but I'm not sure.) Under the Accounts heading should be a list of all your accounts in this data file, something like this:
If you don't see that, do you see a skinny dark blue bar down the left of your screen that looks like this:
If so, your sidebar is minimized. Just click the ">" icon, and it will expand back to the full width as seen in the first screenshot above.

After you go to file, open recent, and open the data file, then do you see your bank accounts, etc. listed on the left under accounts?0

I see the bank account that I choose. But I do t see all of the bank accounts listed under the accounts tab. In window when I opened quicken all of my accounts were listed under the account tab. I then would select the account I wanted to use0

The Mac version works the same way. Usually all of your bank accounts are listed under the accounts tab. The file, open recent, lists different data files. Not sure what has happened in yours.0
