New to working with the budget. Just curious as to why its "red" in the Difference recap?

I am just curious as to why the Difference in the Budget I am trying to work up is red. If my Income is above my bills, shouldn't it be green? just curious. Thank You!

You have provided scant details to help figuring this out, though. From your screenshot, I notice you have an odd budget year setup: Nov '19 to Oct 2020. Is that what you really want?
Most people use Jan-Dec. When you setup a new budget, allow it to use 1/2019 as your starting point. That odd year might be what is causing your unexpected difference.

The Budget year should be the same as your Tax year. SO is this for some sort of corporate account with a REALLY odd fiscal year?

Thank You both! I will change the dates. I figured since I just started the program I needed to start with the month that I started. I will give the date change a try. I'll let you know.
