How do I produce a report of paycheck details?

One way is to use a customized Transaction report:
- select Reports > Banking Transaction
- press Alt + C
- specify the appropriate date range
- check Show splits
- select the Accounts tab and check the appropriate account
- select the Payees tab and check the appropriate payee
- select OK.
