Is there a way to list ticker symbols with investment transactions and/or positions
George Carey
Ticker symbols can be found under the security list (investing/security list) and they seems to be reasonably accurate. But wouldn't it be really simple to adding that column to the identifying description of the transaction?

Have you considered posting your proposal to the

Using the
Portfolio View
, you can display ticker symbols instead of the security name. Just click the Customize button, then click to put a checkmark in "Show symbols in Name column".
Or, again in the Portfolio View, Customize the view to add the "Ticker Symbol" to the list of shown columns.

yes, having a ticker symbol available at every listing make too much sense. Especially if you are being queried about whether the proposed stock is the correct stock.

Quicken uses the ticker and the CUSIP number to match your securities to downloaded data. You do not have to accept the downloaded names for your securities; you could give them short but unique names like "VTSAX - Vanguard TSM Adm" if you want.
