Is there a way to erase lotsof backups for the same file

  You can just delete them if you don't need them any longer.

  You use File Explorer in Windows to delete them, then run a Cleaner to clean the System, like Glary Utilities from: https://www.glarysoft.com/  and CCleaner Free from: https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner

  Wonder how many folks don't touch any Windows elements,
  and just rely on the application programs
