Suspicious files in my, "C:/Program Files (x86)/Quicken" directory. (See attached screen prints.)
Is "BugSplat" (BsSndRpt.exe) supposed to be a part of Quicken?
Is "BouncyCastle.Crypto.dll" supposed to be a part of Quicken?
If these are viruses, how do I delete and reinstall Quicken? I am subscription user.

The BugSplat files are all included in my Quicken program directory too and as far as I know are completely legitimate, handling problem reporting back to Quicken.I don't have the BouncyCastle file but a quick search on the file name suggests it's a legitimate encryption process of some sort. Do you have some sort of encryption programs installed on your computer? If you've ever created a "sanitized" Quicken data file, and this is a pure guess, I could see an encryption process getting installed as part of the creation of the sanitized file.5

while waiting on an answer I deleted all the bug Splash files all three of them. After deleting them the Quicken file would not open. I restored the bug Splash files and now the Quicken file opens.0
