There are several ways. Here a couple of ways:- right-click and chose Open With...> Other... then select TextEdit from the list of applications.- using Spotlight (CMD-Spacebar) type in TextEdit to find and open the editor, then drag and drop the QFX file onto the open TextEdit icon on the Dock.

To fix this issue manually you can go into the QFX file via TextEdit and do the following:
** Make the positives negative
Replace all
<TRNAMT>
With
<TRNAMT>-
** Make the now double negative positive
Then replace all
<TRNAMT>--
With
<TRNAMT>
To back out your last import, sort by the Entered column. You'll need to switch the column to display.
Once you sort by Entered column, you select all from the last entered date and delete those transactions.7

i created a credit card account and used pc financial to download transactions online0

Do you mean you are downloading QFX data file from PC Financial? If so, you can actually view the content of the data file using a simple text editor. It may look cryptic at first but you may be able to confirm if they data is correct in the file or not.
Also check the FITID to see if those duplicate transactions have the same FITID. If they do, this is a Quicken issue (not likely). If the duplicate transactions are different, then this is a PC Financial problem and they need to fix this.
