Should there still be updates with the Quicken Subscription?
Specifically it say..."Quicken for Mac 5.16.1 is now available. You have 5.15.3. Would you like to download and install the new version now?"

They updates come in automatically, and multiple times per year, but it's still your responsibility to accept them.

Under the subscription program your Quicken program (and your data file as well) still resides on your computer, which is why you have to "accept" the download of program updates.

@Dorothy H Previously, each year there was a new version of Quicken, and one had to install it and then convert your data file and then delete the old version and old data files -- lots of steps which often caused confusion or errors. Now, under subscriptions, you get the little pop-up telling you when there's an update. If you're busy, you can skip it an ado it the next time. When you are ready for it, it takes just two clicks (one to download the new version, one to install the new version), and you're typically back up and running in a minute or less.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19935

The prompt is asking me to "download and install." I thought the program was all online and not on my computer. Is that not correct?0

Thank you all. I don't know why I had the impression that the subscription service was based on the program being online, but I did. Thanks all for the info and reassurance. Am downloading/installing the updates now.0
